I'm rewatching this, but I wanted to point out that people forget that Peril was emotionally abused by Scarlet. She went through too much, like pretty much all of the characters.

It's incredible how an animation lasting just a few seconds can so delicately express the nostalgia of a vague and shallow memory, but with a special meaning. Blujae as always killing it in his works and animated works❤

Somehow I just want to kill Coral more. Yeah, she’s a bad mom, and no MAP should promote it. She should’ve cared about her sons at least a little bit, learned their names, loved them, cared for them. Instead, she became on my my least least favorite characters.

Unpopular opinion: *Coral isn't a bad queen* No one talks about how much she lost. People act like it's easy, ruling one of the largest kingdoms, but as Glory would tell you, it sure as hell isn't. No one knows how terrible it is to lose a child until they've lost one, which most people never do. And even worse, she had to kill her eldest daughter TO STOP ORCA KILLING HER. Yes, Coral made some bad choices, but the _vast_ majority of those were to protect her existing daughters and the ones who hadn't been born. She stayed faithful to Gill throughout the war, even after he was gone, and she valued her children by him more than anything. She isn't a bad queen, y'all. She just went through too much and has to continue ruling the kingdom with no break.

This. Is. So. Deep. The attention to detail, Darkstalker’s descent to madness with his eyes, OMGosh it is so detailed. And the whole perspective from Whiteout, icing on the cake, she had to witness the death of her father, her brother’s madness, and her mother’s disappearance. It is so detailed. Realization!: I think animus magic is represented by the being a doll portion (I think I’m just dense and it took me twice watching tho) but that just brings a whole new level of detail, where Arctic, is fully controlled by his son, he becomes a full doll, then, when Darkstalker is put to sleep, he starts to resemble a doll on strings. It’s so detailed, I love it. Tbh id love a stand-alone or something of just Whiteout during/after Darkstalker era
